Introduction - About Me
Hi and thank you for looking at my business's web pages. I've been working with stone for eight years now (as of 2006). I enjoy working with stone, every day I have something to show for my efforts, something that should last for many years. I am based in the North Yorkshire Dales, England. But I am interested in traveling to work away from home, not only in the UK but other countries too.
My aim is to make a book in 10 or 15 years full of my most impressive pieces of work. So between now and then I want to try and take on as much new and interesting pieces, with as much variety and character as I can. My view of stonework is once you have an understanding of the structure of stonework and what is possible, and structurally sound then any effect is possible. I have worked with many different types of stone and with different effects, from function builds to artistic pieces.
I will consider most jobs and will provide quotes. I will train people in the art of Dry Stone Walling, and may employ people with the necessary skills and correct attitude and personality. I can train people towards different skills, and for different lengths of time. whether your a possible client or your interested at learning the age old trade of dry stone walling, don't be afraid to get in touch and I will be sure to reply.
